When I was in my early 20s, I really believed that posting out Christmas cards was an old event which absolutely no one I knew of was considering doing. I no longer believe that and I now send Christmas cards every Christmas. It's loads of fun to send out and get cards in the mail and it's also an enjoyable way to keep in contact with friends and family who I possibly would not get to hear from during the year.

I fairly recently discovered that Christmas cards are also a collectors item so I have started collecting Hallmark Christmas cards. I keep any special cards I see during the Christmas period but also look around on the net for Christmas cards. They can be bought whenever you want and a cool way to find them is at auction.
